Women’s T20 WC 2026- Biggest Prize Pool Announced

The prize money for Women’s cricket team has been announced by the International Cricket Council. The Women’s T20 World cup 2026 are scheduled to be commenced from June and the ICC has announced the record price pool of the tournament as $8.7 million, which is the highest ever financial rewards decided for tournament.

The games are to be hosted across England and Wales, and the ICC CEO Sanjay Gupta emphasized that the investment in sports has a significant impact on empowering it. He further added that the investment of $8,764,615 on 12 team collectively for the tournament signifies our commitment to build a stronger and more competitive sports.

The hosting team England would compete against Sri Lanka women’s cricket team in the opening game.
