A UP Girl with disabilities outshines with her performance
Vedika, a student from Noida standout for her performance in class 10 CBSE Board examination. The girl passed the examinations with 93.70% while scoring 482 out of 500 and also achieved 99 marks in Artificial Intelligence (AI), which is one of her strongest subjects.
Her remarkable academic performance already drew attention of everyone but what makes it even inspiring is that the girl has dysgraphia, a learning disability that mainly affects handwriting, speed and spelling accuracy. It causes noticeable academic difficulties but doesn’t affect the intelligence and intellectual or conceptual understanding.
Despite the fact that she faced these academic challenges Vedika maintained consistent study habits like reported around 5 to 6 hours daily. She initially was expected a much lower score but later she not just passed the examinations but excelled them.
Vedika’s performance sets a strong example that learning disabilities doesn’t limit academic capability and a little support from school and families can result in a major difference. It also reflects that her performance was not just the consequence of exceeding her writing capabilities with consistency but also her understanding & preparations.
Her story is not just about single high score but also about the education system being more inclusive, where the students with such disabilities can also compete effectively with appropriate accommodations and support.
